The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best charity is providing water."
Due to the severe damage inflicted on Gaza’s groundwater infrastructure, with over 75% of its operational capacity disrupted due to destruction and pollution caused by the ongoing aggression, most of the population is forced to rely on unsafe sources, such as agricultural wells and salty water. This significantly increases the risk of waterborne diseases spreading.
Therefore, as part of our ongoing efforts since October 2023, we have launched the "Water for Gaza" campaign to provide clean and safe drinking water through well drilling, rehabilitating desalination plants, and distributing water through tanks and bottles. Our goal is to support the people of Gaza in their struggle and help meet their essential needs.
"And whoever saves one life, it is as if they have saved all of humanity." (Qur'an 5:32)
